Maximum of 4 Farming HQs
A maximum of 4 HQs may participate in farming at the same location at the same time. Those four HQs do not have to belong to the same alliance. Several alliances can farm the same location, but the combined total may never exceed four HQs.
For example:
Alliance A: 1 HQ + Alliance B: 3 HQs = 4 HQs
Alliance A: 2 HQs + Alliance B: 2 HQs = 4 HQs
Alliances A, B, C and D: 1 HQ each = 4 HQs
Alliance A: 3 HQs + Alliance B: 2 HQs = 5 HQs and therefore not allowed.
The limit applies to the location, not individually to each farming alliance.
Shields and Reinforcements
The HQs participating in farming may reinforce each other, but they cannot use shields while doing so.
More importantly, outside reinforcements are not allowed. A player cannot sit somewhere safely under a shield and send reinforcements to friends who are farming.
In short: if you want to participate in the farming party, you need to be part of the farming party.
Which Alliances Can Be Farmed?
Within Server 670, 670F is the only generally protected alliance under these rules. Other alliances may be farmed.
However, individual alliances may have their own non-aggression or no-farming agreements with other alliances. Before farming another alliance, it is therefore a good idea to ask one of your R4/R5s whether such an agreement exists.
Server rules tell you what is generally allowed. Your alliance’s diplomatic agreements may restrict what you are allowed to do further.
What Happens if You Accidentally Zero an HQ?
Mistakes happen. Sometimes one more attack is one attack too many.
If you accidentally destroy or zero an HQ while farming, you must stop farming immediately, send an apology, leave the location immediately and stop farming for the remainder of that week.
So if you see the HQ disappear and think, “Oops…” that’s your signal to pack your bags, not to look for the next target.
Can I Help a Friend Who Is Being Farmed?
Normally, no.
If the attackers are following the farming rules, players from other alliances may not interfere simply because they want to help their friends. Every alliance is responsible for defending itself.
This is important: farming would stop working as a server-wide system if every legal farming action could suddenly turn into an alliance war because somebody called a friend.
When Can Other Alliances Intervene?
Outside intervention is allowed when the farming players break the farming rules.
Examples include continuing to farm after zeroing an HQ, receiving reinforcements from outside, or having more than four farming HQs at the location. If this happens, players from other alliances may intervene and stop the offending players from continuing to farm until they leave.
But please don’t immediately launch the Server 670 Avengers Initiative because you spotted a fifth HQ. Wait and observe for a short time first.
The fifth HQ may have arrived accidentally and could leave as soon as the player notices the mistake. Likewise, somebody who accidentally zeros an HQ may already be stopping the attack and preparing to leave.
Give people a reasonable chance to correct an obvious mistake before escalating the situation.
Farming Should Be Farming – Not a Server War
Summary
- Four HQs maximum.
- No outside reinforcements.
- No shields for participants.
- Stop if you zero someone.
- Respect protected alliances and diplomatic agreements.
- Don’t turn somebody else’s legal farming into your personal rescue mission.
