Don’t Throw All Your Stones at One Gun
Mystic Equipment is here, and of course Last Z has found another way to make us stare at a pile of rare resources and wonder: “Where exactly am I supposed to spend these without regretting it five minutes later?”
The good news: when it comes to Forge Stones, the math actually gives us a pretty clear answer.
Each Mystic Equipment upgrade increases its Base Stats, but the price rises dramatically with every level. Going from +0 to +1 costs only 30 Forge Stones. +1 to +2 costs 50. After that, things get expensive quickly: 100, 200 and finally 300 Stones for +5.
And here comes the important part: +2 is the sweet spot.
Based on the numbers we tested, the upgrade from +1 to +2 gives the best Power increase per Forge Stone. After +2, efficiency starts dropping significantly. In other words: your Forge Stones become increasingly lazy the higher you go.
So if your goal is to increase your overall formation Power as quickly as possible, resist the temptation to create one ridiculously shiny +5 weapon while the rest of your team is still running around with basic equipment.
Spread the love.
For a formation of five heroes, start by bringing the weapons of all five heroes to +2. Then do the same with the other Mystic Equipment slots: Helmet, Armor and Boots.
Once your main five heroes are comfortably sitting at +2 across their important equipment, start working toward +3. +4 and +5 can come later, when you have enough Forge Stones to stop crying every time you press the Forge button.
A simple example shows just how big the difference is:
Five weapons upgraded to +2 cost 400 Forge Stones and give roughly +275,805 total Power.
One weapon upgraded all the way to +5 costs 680 Forge Stones and gives only around +199,738 Power.
So you spend 280 MORE Stones… for about 76,000 LESS total Power.
Congratulations. You have created a beautiful gun and four jealous teammates.
Of course, this strategy is about maximizing overall Power. If you are optimizing specifically for combat performance, you may eventually want to prioritize certain equipment depending on the hero and their role.
But for efficient growth, the rule is wonderfully simple:
+2 everywhere first.
Then +3 everywhere.
Save the expensive +4 and +5 upgrades for later.
Your Forge Stones will thank you.
Your Power ranking might too.
